Saturday Smile

These beautiful animals run wild in the National Forest area next to us and sometimes wander down our road. I think the owner has been fined~but they are still out there. I look for them whenever we are back there. I hope they stay safe!

  1. Wow! I think that is so neat that you have wild? horses living in the woods so close to where you live! The deer sometimes walk right next to my window behind the Teeny Tiny Cabin and then right through our front yard to cross the road, but to see horses (I love horses!) roaming free, now that would be something!
    Hope they stay safe too!
Have a wonderful weekend and Blessings to you!

  2. Hi Rose Mary! :)

If left to roam, wouldn't they become a little more wild and therefore a little more safe? I don't know, but observing the wildlife here, they always seem to have what they need.

    Have a wonderful weekend,
    Zuzu

  10. Now my Mother-in-law would love this. She used to own horses and ride. She is 80yrs. young and a couple of years ago decided she would give it a try again. We bought a horse from a lady who couldn't keep him anymore. Mother-in-law put old saddle on and started down the road, fell off and just luck didn't break anything. She kept him for a few months and then found another home for him. We took her south where they where advertising the wild horses for adoption and she wanted to adopt one, said she would if we could fit him in the car...
