Another Wintry Day

After those warm temperatures that we had last week, I guess I got sort of spoiled, because I sure didn't appreciate the ice we had yesterday! I keep thinking all that stuff is behind us for this winter.

Aren't these salt and pepper shakers cute?! I just fell in love with them a few months ago when I saw them on Ebay.

I've been looking at them a lot this week, because they remind me that I'm going to be bringing home some chicks next week! Our sweet little bantams are going to have to make room for some bigger girls. I hope they'll be nice! (I'm not counting on it, though, LOL!)
I'm still working on Part III of the cabin saga~not sure when I'll get it posted, as things have been pretty busy around here.
Have a great day!

  8. Cute S&P's, Rose Mary.

We didn't get any ice, but we did get temps in 20's and learned we had been spoiled by those teasing warmer temps. We're headed to the lake tomorrow with good weather promised...but I'll never forget the last of March 1978, when the worst ice storm I've seen in many a year, happened. We were without power for several days, regaining it on Easter morning. I also remember snow on my daughter's birthday,April 24th. So we are going slow and easy with the gardening...that's why we can take a week or two to get caught up at the lake.

Hopefully we've seen the last of winter weather, this year.
