I really have been meaning to make a post in the last week. I think of my blog as a fun place to post and visit with my friends--but this last week has brought so much suffering across the South. Some of our own family live in Vilonia, AR that was struck by the tornado on Monday. They were all spared and only one cousin had damage, but they are all okay. We are very thankful. The news this morning from Alabama and other states is horrific. Please pray for everyone that has been touched by these storms. Lives are changed forever. God be with them.
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1
A Hopeful Thanksgiving

It is just heartbreaking! I was up late last night watching the weather channel and praying for all those people, it's hard to even imagine the scope of the devastation there! I'm glad to hear your family members are safe ((HUGS))
ReplyDeleteWe have been praying. It has been so bad for so many people. One came close to our third son's home the other night south of Dallas. So we are very thankful and yet sad for all those families who have been so deeply affected by the bad weather. Stay safe. connie
ReplyDeleteI have family in the South myself and except for wind and rain they were the lucky ones. Very sad watching the news.
ReplyDeleteWe have lots of wind and rain here too but nothing like down South.
