Hello From the Cabin

I should really say 'hello from Animal Cabin'! One cat has had an upper respiratory infection and been to the vet. We've had to give him medicine all week and wipe his nose contantly.

I took Bella, the German shepherd/Aussi puppy to have her spade and she has been inside howling since Thursday (she wants to go out and play with the others). Hopefully, by Wednesday she can spend some time outside as long as I keep her seperate from the other pups.

Meanwhile, someone dumped a cat on our road, so of course, she is here. We kept her isolated for a few days to make sure she wasn't sick, but I think she's mostly just starved. What is wrong with people?

Big waves to everyone~I'll be around to visit all of you SOON!

  3. You have such a wonderful and caring heart. I do not understand how people can be mean and neglect animals like they do. May you be blessed for your wonderful giving spirit.

  5. Your a special person for taking in that cat. We took in a stray from our neighborhood a couple of years ago and she is the queen of the house!! You can tell how grateful she is to us for giving her a home. I don't know how anybody could've given her up but I guess she was meant to be ours. :) Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. God bless.

It's hard having to keep doggies inside when they want to romp and play.... poor little kitty- I'm glad she found you because I know you're taking good care of her!
Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

  8. Your place sounds like ours... not a winter goes by that we aren't doctoring a chicken in the house, or chasing the turkey out of the tree or finding homes for "lost" critters. And to top that off, we are expecting pups in 2 days! Glad to find your blog, I'll be stopping back by!
