Monday

I can't believe it's been this long since I posted! Things have just been busy around here for the last week and I haven't had much time to get on the computer.

Over the weekend, we attended a church youth group reunion. We definitely couldn't qualify as the 'youth group' anymore, LOL! But it was lots of fun to see everyone again and get back some connections with friends that we hadn't seen in over twenty years.

I hope all of you have been well~I'll be around to visit you in the next day or so.

I wanted to share a picture of this Great Blue Heron. He has been hanging around down at the office where my husband works. He's usually out in the creek, but has been out of it for a while. I hope the poor thing isn't sick. My hubby said he's not down there today, so maybe all is well.

  1. Hi Rose Mary. We have a blue heron that visits our area, too. They are so stately and beautiful.

  3. My Youth Group from church had a reunion last spring. It was great to see how everyone is doing now. We were planning a bigger reunion for the summer but could not get a date the worked. My greatest memories from my teen year involve my friend from Youth Group. Only if we could go back to that time in our lives.

  5. There is a Great Blue Heron at the lake. We used to have them on the pond, at the farm. That was pretty close to the house. The one at the lake sits on the dock roof. I love the sound of his voice, when he takes off flying.

  6. The blue heron would make a nice visitor! About your youth reunion... LOL... we have a new Sunday school class at our church for ages 35 and younger. My preacher asked me if I would join... LOL... I wish!!! I am now qualifying for the new "senior saints" class... age 35 and older!
