Hope you are all having a great day. It is very windy outside here and expecting storms later. They are predicted to be severe~hope not as severe as the last round. So many people across the country are suffering from those storms.
I've been helping hubby with some of his work and also working on a writing project. I am starting to get summer decorating fever. I love having all my stuff around me in the winter. It makes the house seem cozy and warm. But once it starts warming up outside, I want all of it put away. I like a lighter, more spare look (not that it's ever really spare in the cabin, LOL) for summer. Are any of you like that?
I've been taking things off of the walls and changing out the curtains for a 'lighter' look. Still have plenty to do and boxes to put away!
Feel the same away about cozying up in winter and then time to head outside as soon as it warms up. Stay safe in these crazy storms.
ReplyDeleteMe too! It seems as we have moved into our new home I want am painting with lighter colors and changing my decor completly. We are expecting storms tonigth too. Lord, I pray for the safety of those who are in the path of the storms. Blessings and post some pics of your new decor.

ReplyDeleteI don't know about where you are Mary but it stormed something awful here last night. I'm pretty sure a funnel cloud went over my house....I could hear the roar and there are several trees down in yards just a mile from me. We have so many trees in our yard that it scares me when the wind is that high! blessings, marlene
ReplyDeleteI'm getting spring fever, too. Wish this weather would make up it's mind. There is so much to do outside, spring is a very busy time of year, inside and out.

ReplyDeleteI took my summer/spring clothes out today and put away the winter clothes...AND I cleaned out my closet while doing so, I have a box and a large garbage bag of clothes going to the thrift store for donation
