So many blogs are talking Christmas! I am wanting to start on some decorations, but haven't decided exactly what I am going to make. I am off for the day to look at some craft supplies and get some ideas.
Have any of you started your Christmas shopping? I tend to do a little at a time throughout the year. We've already purchased a few items, but still have some to go.
I'm already listening to Christmas music, too. Honestly, I tend to do that most of the year, but lately it seems I've been listening more. If you like the Irish sound, I can recommend the Cherish* the *Ladies Christmas album~I've been enjoying it quite a lot this last week. It is called *On* Christmas *Night* and has a wonderful mix of songs.

I don't shop for gifts till Thanksgiving day or after, unless I run across a sale that is too good to pass up that is.

ReplyDeleteI haven't done any shopping yet, but started on a few homemade gifties. I love the Christmas music too...and I've started reading some of my favorite Christmas books! And come to think of it, I watched Holiday Inn last weekend! :)

I usually wait until the week of Christmas. I keep telling my self on more pay check. I hope to make some food gifts this year, I make a almond brittel that people look forward in receiving. Let us know what you find at the craft store.

I haven't even thought about shopping yet, with the house on the market and one offer pending, just not sure how much I will decorate this year? I usually go all out with 2 trees, but I love the season of giving! Can't wait to see what homemade goodies you come up with!
ReplyDeleteI started working on some Christmas things the last week in September with such good intentions. I now realize the house project is taking up most of our time, but it will be worth it when finished.

Uh huh...I already have all my *Santa* shopping done. : ) I have a few things for Bill and Dan. my Mom and my nephew. We are giving the brother and sis in law's gift certificates for a B&B weekend and free babysitting! : )
