I've never heard the song before either, but love the words. The scarecrow family is adorable. My preacher's wife just gave birth to her sixth child. They have put out two big scarecrows and six little ones in their front yard. Too cute!
The last time I was at Silver Dollar City was about 12 years ago! We were driving out to see my parents who then lived in Colorado and wanted to take some of our foster kids there. We had a wonderful time with wonderful memories! I also have pictures of my kids at the cave when they were only one, three, and four years old! Wonderful place-must be nice in the Fall. Happy October to you Rosemary! And blessings too!--Claudia O.
The picture is adorable. Thanks! The seasons here are muchthe same, but decorated differently. I miss those sort of things. It's time to get mine out and enjoy!
Oh, it looks like you all really do have fall. We had 92% here again to day. It was a beautiful day just not fall. Have a happy October. connie from Texas
Hi RM, Are you ok there?? Haven't seen you about. Guess we are at last getting some cooler weather here. I have been pressing leaves, now I can find some really pretty red ones. NANCY JO
My name is Mary L. Briggs (a.k.a. Rose Mary).I am a Christian wife of 24 years to a wonderful husband and mom to two grown daughters. We live in the mountains, in a cordwood cabin that we built ourselves--with a lot of help from family. It was a hard six year job, but we are very happy with the results. I love keeping my home and working on being the wife and mom that God wants me to be. I enjoy reading, crafting, quilting, herb gardening, writing, and cooking.
Thank-you happy October to you as well. I am so ready for fall!
