Tagged!

My friend Marlene, at Stitchinbythelake, has tagged me to tell 6 random things about myself. So, here goes:

1. When home alone, I prefer my house to be totally silent--no radio, television, or music.

2. I love to read mysteries. My favorite authors are Agatha Christie, Mary Roberts Rinehart, and Anne Perry.

3. Although from the South, I prefer my ice tea unsweetened.

4. I like garlic salt on my popcorn.

5. I like to write romance and mysteries.

6. My two favorite pies are pecan and buttermilk.

I am supposed to tag six more people, but I've seen this tag on several of your blogs--so, if you haven't been tagged-----you're it!

  2. I enjoyed your list! I like Agatha Christie and Mary Roberts Rhinehart too! I don't think I've read Anne Perry.

Having lived in the south a good number of years, you would think sweet tea would be my favorite. But I like my tea unsweetened. J, more closely connected to the north, prefers his tea sweet.

    Have a wonderful weekend.

  4. I'm with you on the first one, Rose Mary...
If I'm in my craft room or cleaning house, I like quiet. Radio and TV going is a terrible distraction to me. (and it gives me a headache!! LOL)

  5. Eeeeeek! Unsweetened iced tea?!?!?
Are you sure you're not a Yankee?!?
;*O Just kidding! I prefer mine sweetened -- but I like unsweetened, too! I might have to check my bloodline out, too!

Pecan pie -- your Southern Belle status has been redeemed!!! Isn't it yummy? I don't even save it just for Thanksgiving -- it's just too good!

Garlic salt on popcorn is yummy, too -- as well as onion salt on fries (my husband taught me that one!!!!)

    Thanks for sharing your secrets!
    I've loved reading them!

    Blessings,
    Julie

  6. I may have to try the ol' garlic salt on the popcorn. I've used (and you will laugh at this) a southwestern chicken seasoning on my popcorn before, and that actually works rather nicely. But the garlic salt would probably be better for me!

Hope you've been doing well, Rose Mary. I apologize I've been a bit AWOL. I've been taking on too much stuff lately, I'm afraid.

I do think about you regularly, and send good wishes your way. :)
