I was happy to see what came in the mail yesterday~
A little bit of a cure for cabin fever! I'm so excited about our garden this coming spring. We ordered these heirloom seeds from Baker Creek Seeds in Mansfield, MO. I've never grown tomatoes from seed before, so I'm looking forward to giving it a try.
I hope all of you are staying warm and dry. Keep dreaming of spring--it will be here soon!
It's been ages since I've grown toms from seeds but it's not hard, but they do get leggy! Glad to see you got some snow, it was snowing here a bit ago with the temp. at 41? Winter still.....
ReplyDeleteBy the variety of your seeds, you are going to have a wonderful garden. Our carrots have finally come in and I will be picking them today, along with a new crop of lettuce. I love your snow pic. Absolutely beautiful:)
ReplyDeleteIt looked like that at my house today too Mary but it's all gone now, thank goodness. We got out about 11 and ran a couple of errands - went to Lowe's for supplies for the "Honey Do" list, got an allergy shot, stopped and had barbeque for lunch. I'm back home now finishing the laundry and cooking a new corn chowder recipe. I'm planning to spend the whole day tomorrow in the sewing room - I may lock the door! blessings, marlene
ReplyDeleteHi Rose Mary!
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely snow picture! At the same time I know we are all longing to hear the birds sing! It will be awhile before that happens up here in snow country! Until then I'll enjoy seeing your heirloom seeds sprout! Sounds like a fun challenge!
Have a wonderful Valentine weekend!
With Love from the Cabin,

ReplyDeleteHope you have a wonderful Valentine's weekend, Rose Mary!

ReplyDeleteHave a happy V-day!!
Oh Rose Mary- when I saw the picture of all your wonderful seed packets, I felt a big grin come across my face! Hurry up, Spring... I want to dig in the dirt!
ReplyDelete(Instead of losing my shoes in the mud like I am now! *LOL*)
