- My name is Mary L. Briggs (a.k.a. Rose Mary).I am a Christian wife of 24 years to a wonderful husband and mom to two grown daughters. We live in the mountains, in a cordwood cabin that we built ourselves--with a lot of help from family. It was a hard six year job, but we are very happy with the results. Yes, I hope for their safety, too. I am glad I live among the hills.
I have heard from my brother this morning... he says they are running out of buckets to catch water from the leaky roof. :o( Also, my mom's power is out... trees down and flooding, but people are doing ok so far!
