Back to the cold weather. Okay, all you friends up north will laugh, but it is cold to us! Highs in the 30s, lows in the 20s. I shouldn't complain, as it could be worse. Still, in this weather I have to keep my curtains pulled shut to keep out the cold air, and after a couple of days it starts to feel like I live in a cave. I find it best to put another log on the fire and curl up with a good book, or drag out a lot of my craft supplies--and of course, surf around the web to visit with all of you--something I love to do in any weather.
Take care and stay warm this week-end.

I'm with you~a good book or crafting by the fire! It was only 5 degrees F. here the other morning.

ReplyDelete-16!! Perfect excuse to stay indoors and catch up on reading. Keep warm!
Your pictures tell the story of a very unique, and cozy home in a beautiful area! I love the way your wood stove is surrounded by stone! My husband built our two past homes also(one was a log home the where my kids grew up,next a timber frame)and last summer he built a barn to go with the TTC. we don't know what we'll be doing with the cabin yet, but we need a rest, and we are content with "as is" for now.
