Okay, I have been tagged! Here are the rules. Read them carefully because 6 of you will be tagged. Each player of this game starts with "6 weird things about you". Each person who gets tagged needs to write a blog post of their own 6 weird things as well as clearly state this rule. After you state your 6 weird things, you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names. Don't forget to leave a comment that says "you're tagged" in their comments and tell them to read your blog for information as to what it means.
Okay, here goes:
Weird thing #1: I got to see Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, Prince Charles and Prince Andrew when I went on a student trip to England in 1976. I also saw Judi Dench in a play on that same trip!
Weird thing #2: I like to eat Rice Krispies on my chocolate ice cream. I'm not sure why or how I discovered this, but my grandpa always like to eat crushed up saltines on his ice cream, so I'm sure it's in the genes somewhere.
Weird thing #3: I married the first and only guy I ever dated. Smart move, as we're going on 25 years! And no, I've never felt like I 'missed something' cause I didn't date a lot of other guys.
Weird thing #4: When I'm home alone, I sometimes read aloud to my cat. He seems to enjoy it, particularly the funny parts that I read. If I read something and start laughing, he usually comes running to me--guess so I can share it with him!
Weird thing #5: I eat Oreos the wrong way. Yes, I sometimes twist them apart, but then I usually scrape out the 'middle' and only eat the chocolate part.
Weird thing #6: I've always wanted to live in the house on "It's A Wonderful Life". I especially love their old iron bed.
Okay, I had a hard time finding anyone who hadn't been tagged. So, for now I am only tagging Niki , Carol, and Deb . These ladies don't know me and I've only been blogging for a little over a week, but I hope they'll have fun.
Anybody else out there want to be tagged????

Wow Rosemary! I too love the big old house in IAWL! Love that movie...
ReplyDeleteI also read aloud to the dog and cats. Talk to them too. We discuss movies we are watching, politics, the weather...
I am SO envious that you saw the royal family! How cool and what a memory. But, I am even MORE envious that you saw Dame Judi in a play IN England. That is the best! She is one of my favorite people in the world. : )
Have a great week!
Hugs,
Sue

My daughter LOVES "It's a Wonderful Life" so when she got married and they were looking for a house to buy, she knew she found the house for her when she went to go up stairs and the newel post on the banister came off. She looked at it and declared that this is the house for her. They bought it and it's a great house.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments, girls. And, Chris, what a great story. Glad your daughter found her dream house!
