Tuesday Morning

Good morning everyone! It's nice to be back at my computer. We were out of town most of Sunday and Monday. Our drive through the Ozarks was so beautiful. The Redbuds and Forsythia are in full bloom and the Dogwoods are not far behind them. In another week the Dogwoods will be gorgeous up there. They are mostly open here in the Ouachitas--those in the shade lagging behind a little.

We are expecting mostly rain this week, so I guess my plans for working in my flower beds will have to wait. No matter, as I have plenty of inside projects to work on. I want to get my dining room curtains finished as well as the shade and valance for the kitchen.

Do any of you have any projects lined up for this week? I'd love to hear about them.

"This is the day the Lord has made: let us rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118:24

  1. What a truly amazing photo and your detailed post - helps one to understand the various plants.

Thank you for such a wonderful post.

    Blessings to you all.

  2. What a beautiful pic. I think many of us have projects to do in the house. Spring is here and I am ready to start working.

My goal is to start spring cleaning this week. I want to wash the inside of the window sills so I can enjoy the windows being open and hear the birds, etc.

    Take care,

  3. Hi Rosemary, that looks like my neck of the woods, the redbuds are so bright this year and the dogwoods are starting to bloom here, a little early. We have a chance of rain all week too, but as long as it's not, I'll be out there weeding til the rain comes. Pretty photo!!

  4. That is a beautiful photograph!!! I just love spring!!
I have two weeks off for Easter break. Along with general cleaning, I plan on painting my bedroom and readying it for a new bed, and painting and organizing my laundryroom/pantry.
It's still quite early for gardening here, but if the weather seems warm and stable enough I can take some of the straw off my flower beds.

  5. Rosemary,
Sounds like you had a nice little get a way. And now you are sewing? Hope we get to see a picture of the curtains when they are done.
Thankyou again for your nice comments when you come to visit me, you always have something nice to say.
Nice weather here again today, Richard and I sat on the front porch for awhile before dinner, My daughter and one of her girls walked over to visit a bit. She just lives the next street over.I made mac. salad today and we had hot dogs and I made oatmeal cookies. Going to take my book now and go to bed and read for awhile, hope to finish this book today and then I will start another one tomorrow night. There, now how was that for a long post? And I haven't had any coffee since this morning, so can't blame it on the caffine.HA.
