The goldenrod is yellow
The corn is turning brown
The trees in apple orchards
With fruit are bending down.
~Children's song~
This sweet scarecrow was one of many scattered throughout Silver Dollar City when we visited a few days ago. I love to walk through the park~the landscaping and decorations are always perfect.
Have a great day.

What a beautiful fall scene! The little poem (song) is so cute... don't know if I've heard that before or not. Don't you just love the fall colors and smells?
ReplyDeleteI like friendly looking scare crows like this happy fella!!
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a nice autumn day!
:)
RM,
ReplyDeleteNice picture, just love fall. I pressed about nine thousand leaves today, well ok, maybe a few less then that. Such a pretty time of year.

Oh I am beginning to smell pumpkin pie!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely place to visit.
ReplyDeleteR-Mary....I love the cute little guy there in your picture. Matter of fact, I want him on my back deck, he would be perfect there to welcome everyone as they come up. Gosh, it has been too many years to count since I've been up there to Silver Dollar City.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm like the rest on here, Fall is one of my favorite times of the year.

It's so nice that lots of people are sharing Autumn decorated places. Aren't we lucky to have them? Yes we are. :-)

After much rain, it's starting to look like fall here with cooler temps too, finally! Loved the poem too!
ReplyDeleteLove the fall scene. I like the beginning of autumn-I dread the end of fall-THEN WINTER--Burrrr
