Vintage Style

If you enjoy vintage decorating--you know, making your house look like your grandma's did, then you may find this article helpful if you're having trouble pulling it all together. Look here.

If you're new to this style you might want to try shopping at yard sales and thrift stores before you venture into the reproduction world. Especially watch for kitchen items. Remember, with this style, you don't have to have a 'matching' set of china or all your mixing bowls in one color. Have fun. Be brave. You can find many sweet little items for your home for almost no cost at all.

Happy decorating,

RoseMary

  1. Such an inspiring post! I can't wait for garage sales to begin in the spring...in the meantime, I guess I'll have to shop for my vintage finds at the local thrift shop.

  2. One of my favorite ways to set a table is with each place setting having a different plate which everyone always loves and comments about. And it's easy to find one plate cheap at thrift stores and yard sales.
