Good Morning everyone! I think that I am still basking in the glow of yesterday's warm weather. It was a wonderful day to be outside. After getting my morning chores done, I went out for a long walk and even ventured into the woods behind the cabin. To be outside without a jacket is just amazing after all this cold weather. Of course, it is rainy and in the 30s right now! I know that spring really is just around the corner and I'm trying not to be too impatient!
Rowdy enjoyed his day in the window of the dining room, as you can see above. He spent a lot of time wiggling his little nose around, probably wondering what that fresh air smell was! He was still sitting there when I got back from my walk, so I snapped this pic. He may have a while to wait for another day like yesterday.
I want to say thanks to the new people who have been visiting my blog. Actually, you're all new--I've only been doing this for about four weeks. You are so sweet and I am enjoying all of your blogs and getting to know you. Thanks so much for your friendship.
Everybody have a great day!

Do you mind if I tell you I'm just a little envious of your dining room? Mine is a frightful mess. But aside from that, your's is just so homey and warm and comfy looking...is there hot chocolate there in the mornings? You know how I love my chocolate...

What a beautiful room, and your kitty cat is the perfect touch! I love the green with the wood tones! I'm a cabin fan too...they go so well with my moose! :)
ReplyDeleteI have to tie my curtains back or Clarence would have them snagged up...I don't know why they like to sit in windows but that is his favorite spot too!!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a nice walk outdoors!!

Thanks for dropping by,all of you and the many compliments on my dining room. Wish all of you could sit down at the table and have a cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate (yes, I have plenty of chocolate, Tracey!) I'm sure we'd find lots to talk about. Everybody stay warm--I'm sure spring must be just around the corner--or maybe a few blocks on down for some of you!
ReplyDeleteIf I am ever back to see my sister, we will have to make a day to go and see you since she is just in Missouri, My niece is in Ark @ bold knob where ever that is??? Have a good one
ReplyDeleteThat would be fun, Allison!
ReplyDeleteYou have a lovely dinning room! Great colors, arrangements, and I love all the wood!! And your kitty looks so cute! I have 2 elderly cats, one being 18 and not in very good shape, the other 16. Its hard to see them get old, but I know they've had a good life with us, and all the years we've had them has been a joy.
