HAPPY SAINT PATRICK'S DAY

There's a dear little plant that grows in our isle,
Twas St. Patrick himself sure that set it;
And the sun on his labor with pleasure did smile,
And with dew from his eye often wet it.
It thrives through the bog, through the brake, and the mireland;
And he called it the dear little shamrock of Ireland--
The sweet little shamrock, the dear little shamrock,
The sweet little, green little, shamrock of Ireland! - Andrew Cherry, Green little Shamrock of Ireland

Hope you all have a very GREEN day!

  1. Good morning RoseMary,
    Happy Saint Pats day to you too.
    I bought two shamrock plants a few weeks ago, going to see If I can keep them going. I seem to be pretty good with most plants but seem to have trouble hanging on to these. I think there is a picture on my site someplace. They have little white flowers all over them now.
    The four Grand daughters will be here in a few minutes for the day, which is usual for a Saturday.
