Sunday Morning

Trust And Obey

When we walk with the Lord
In the light of His Word,
What a glory He sheds on our way!
While we do His good will
He abides with us still,
And with all who will trust and obey.

Trust and obey--
For there's no other way
To be happy in Jesus
But to trust and obey

John Sammis

The words above are the words of one of my favorite hymns. Simple tune, simple words, but not always so simple to do! I often let my sinful nature take over and forget to Trust And Obey, and instead, I do it my way. It never works out of course. I am just thankful that He is there, always watching over me and gently nudging me, reminding me to Trust And Obey.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge Him,
and He will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6

Have a blessed Sunday.

RMary

"This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118:24

  8. Hi Rosemary. I found your link on Peter's blog and couldn't resist because of the name of your blog. Would love to see some pictures of your cabin.

Yes, a very wonderful old hymn. Although we sing a lot of P & W, the old hymns hold a special place for me.

Blessings to you. I have another blog on WordPress ( My Photo Blog ) if you care to visit that one in addition to the one on Blogger.
